Your privacy is of great importance to Sion young plants. Accordingly, we comply with privacy laws. This means that your details are safe with us and that we always use them appropriately. In this privacy statement, we explain what we do with the information that we learn about you.

Purpose

Sion processes your personal data for the following purpose:

To be able to answer your questions and requests.

 

Basis

Sion will only process your personal information after we have received your permission to do so. We will ask for this permission at the start of our services and will then also draw your attention to this Privacy Statement.

Contact form

You can use the contact form to ask us questions or make requests.

To do so, we use your e-mail address, name and address details. We do this on the basis of your consent. We will keep this information until we are sure that you are satisfied with our response and twelve months thereafter. This allows us to easily retrieve the information in the event of follow-up questions.

Provision to other companies or institutions

We do not share your personal information to other companies or institutions, unless this is necessary for our website or if we are legally obliged to do so (for example, if the police demand this in the case of suspected crime).

External parties

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our website. We have concluded a processing agreement with Google. This contains strict agreements about what they are allowed to track. We have not allowed Google to use the Analytics information obtained for other Google services. We have Google anonymise the IP addresses.

Wordfence
We use Wordfence on our website as a security measure. Your IP address is automatically checked by Wordfence against their hacker database. So Wordfence processes your IP-address. Sion has concluded a Processor Agreement with Wordfence and Wordfence complies with the guidelines of GDPR.

Mailchimp
We like to keep our clients informed by e-mail about matters related to services they have purchased from us. For this purpose we make use of Mailchimp. Accordingly, they process your name and e-mail address. Every e-mail contains a link by which you can unsubscribe. Sion has concluded a processing agreement with Mailchimp.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small files in which we can store information so that you have no need to enter it every time. But they also allow us to see that you are visiting us again.

When you visit our website for the first time, a message is showen explaining about cookies. If you continue to use our website, we will assume that you have no objection to the cookies.

You can disable cookies via your browser, but then some parts of our website will not work efficiently.

We have made arrangements with other companies that place cookies about the use. However, we do not have complete control over what they do with the cookies. So please read their privacy statements too.

Storage period

Sion will keep your personal information for the following period:

  • When you are a customer, up to 7 years after the last contract has ended;
  • When you ask a question through our website, until 12 months after the question has been answered by us;
  • In other cases, the information will not be kept longer than necessary;
  • The above does not apply if information is destroyed at your request.
Security

Security of personal information is of great importance to us. We take the following measures to protect your privacy:

  • Access to personal information is protected by means of a user name and password
  • After receipt, the information are stored in a separate, protected system
  • We make use of secure connections (Secure Sockets Layer or SSL) so that all information between you and our website is protected when you enter personal details

When our website changes, we must of course also change the privacy statement. So always pay attention to the date above and check regularly for new versions. We will do our best to announce changes separately.
